While Maclin has a lot to prove yet, if by chance he can live up to the hype that everyone is saying, the Eagles could have one of the best WR groups in the NFL. Teams of course like the Cards, Colts, Pats, and even the Bills now come to mind but the Eagles are right up there. Now this is all of course IF Desean Jackson has equal or close to the same year he had last year. Think of Reggie Brown coming in as a surprise weapon. I hear all of these talks that we should trade Reggie Brown, why do that when he is trying to re-establish his career. The kid is a damn good WR, not GREAT, but good. And I feel that he will shine in our offense this year. Eagles have a great chance to come out there and not only have an amazing run game, but also an amazing passing game. With Celek and now Ingram wow sky is the limit. We will see what we can do here.
I mean lets take a look at our WideOuts we have right now
11 | Amendola, Danny | WR | 5-11 | 186 | Texas Tech | 1 |
81 | Avant, Jason | WR | 6-0 | 212 | Michigan | 4 |
84 | Baskett, Hank | WR | 6-4 | 220 | New Mexico | 4 |
86 | Brown, Reggie | WR | 6-1 | 197 | Georgia | 5 |
80 | Curtis, Kevin | WR | 6-0 | 186 | Utah State | 7 |
19 | Gibson, Brandon | WR | 6-1 | 206 | Washington State | R |
10 | Jackson, DeSean | WR | 5-10 | 175 | Cal | 2 |
18 | Maclin, Jeremy | WR | 6-0 | 198 | Missouri | R |
17 | McBride, Shaheer | WR | 6-2 | 205 | Delaware State | 1 |
16 | Robinson, Brandon | WR | 5-11 | 192 | Boston College | R |
13 | Thigpen, Marcus | WR | 5-9 | 193 | Indiana | R |
Now you know the Eagles won’t keep all of those guys, but thats not a bad list at all. While all the rookies are unproven yet we will soon see them in action soon enough.
