The question out there is who will now take Westbrooks spot? Do the Eagles sign one of these RB’s that are out there in the open market and available? Or do they go with their young guys they already have. Knowing the Eagles history I say they go with what they have but who knows theres a couple of names on here that I would not mind.
Warrick Dunn: 34 years old, 786 rush yards, 330 receiving yards last season
Ahman Green: 32 years old, 294 rush yards, 3 rushing touchdowns
Rudi Johnson: 29 years old, 237 rush yards, 1 rushing touchdown
Deuce McAllister: 30 years old, 418 rush yards, 5 rushing touchdowns
Edgerrin James: 30 years old (31 in August), 514 rushing yards, 3 rushing touchdowns
DeShaun Foster: 29 years old, 514 rushing yards, 1 touchdown
Chris Perry: 27 years old, 269 rushing yards, 2 rushing touchdowns
Michael Pittman: 33 years old, 320 rushing yards, 4 rushing touchdowns
Now lets break down each player and see what we would like about them.
Warrick Dunn: 34 years old – I think Dunn has the best chance to be on this team, hes very Wesbrook like.
Ahman Green: 32 years old – Injury prone whole career and used to have a fumbling problem, no!
Rudi Johnson: 29 years old – PASS, all that needs to be said
Deuce McAllister: 30 years old – While Deuce was great, he’s gone down hill every year. I like him but, NO!
Edgerrin James: 30 years old – Edge showed signs of “I still got it” and I like him a lot. Love me some EDGE
DeShaun Foster: 29 years old –Don’t let this fool you, hes REALLY REALLY good. I would like him here.
Chris Perry: 27 years old – Bengals cut him and Johnson for a reason. Thug + Fumbles don’t mix!
Michael Pittman: 33 years old – If he was still 29/30 I would say maybe. 30 compared to 33 is a huge difference. Sorry Pitt great career but no thanks.
