Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hank Baskett signed his one-year restricted free agent tender today, according to the team’s official Web site.
Baskett was assigned the second-round tender of $1.545 million following a career-high season last year. He caught 33 passes for 440 yards and three touchdowns.
According to NFL.com, Baskett has registered 71 career receptions for 1,046 yards and six touchdowns in three NFL seasons.
Meanwhile, the Eagles signed a local tight end, Eugene Bright, a native of Rosemont, Pa.
Bright, who played defensive end at Purdue, played tight end and strong safety in high school. After going undrafted last year, Bright didn’t play in the NFL last season. – ProfootballTalk.com
Well I havent hear anything of this Eugene Bright so we shall see what this kid is like down at Spring Training in Lehigh!
