Update on Lappy and Carter

Heres the latest updates on Jeff Carter and Laperriere:

Carter was skating today ……Flyers do not think he will be ready until at least game 3 and even at that it will be a STRETCH to see him in this series…..but seeing him skate Holmgren said was very encouraging…

Also: Laperriere was cleared for contact, per Holmgren. He is closer to returning than Carter. He is “possible” to return this series.

With that said the addition of any of these two would mean someone is getting scratched. I have a simple theroy, right now things are CLICKING, and if it aint broke then dont fix it…
I know thats silly sounding because we are talking about Lappy and Carter here 2 huge players for the Flyers in different ways. One which is a monster on the defensive end, esp at blocking shots and another who has a LAZER of a shot much like Danny Boy in a BIGGER body. We all know the rundown of Lappy and Carter but still, we are looking so good right now I’m not so sure breaking up these lines will be a good thing. We will see.
