Summary: The Lamarr Woodley comparisons are cliche and obvious, but Graham doesn’t have Woodley’s long arms or first step. However, Graham is the prospect I’m somewhat afraid to doubt. He put out very good tape and he’ll give you everything he’s got to make it in the league. If a team wants to convert Graham to outside linebacker, then they will have to find a way to hide his deficiencies in coverage. I don’t think Graham is a top-25 first-round value, and I think he’s a better college than pro player. Graham is going to come off the board in the top 40 picks.
Adam Schefter said this:
Brandon Graham is the best pass rusher in this draft, My prediction: Graham will win Defensive Rookie of the Year.
HomeBoyzNetworks thoughts:
While I wanted to go out and really get Earl Thomas this is a solid pick. Why do you need a strong secondary when the QB cant get the ball out of his hand due to constant pressure? And with the Giants taking Pierre-Paul and then the Titans taking Morgan that just put the stamp on it that the Eagles make the correct decision. Although some do say that it came at a heavy price tag. Our 1st round #24 pick as well as both 3rd round picks just to jump up to grab him. Living here in the Poconos stinks sometimes, but what it is good for is not only do I have Comcast but also MSG and YES, both NY stations. Jerry Reese (Giants GM) was on first he said how he thought Oakland taking Rolando McClain was very smart and he should be a great player for years to come, then he stating how Philly moved up at the right spot and that they were planning to take Brandon Graham because he fit their system as well as Pierre-Paul did. He then talked about those 2 shortly then went on to talk about Pierre-Paul more in depth. So it seems as if we made the right spot to trade up too. Good pick and this kid should be great for years to come!
Something to pump you up a bit.
