Eagles interested in Liberty’s RB Rashad Jennings?

Well heres an interested twist. I’ll try to make this one quick. This kid is compared to the deceiving speed of Adrian Peterson but only runs a low 4.50 in the 40’s, at the same time has the cutting ability of Tomlinson, and yet the power of Marion Barber. A lot of scouts and people out there are comparing him to last years Chris Johnson from the Titans, and we all know how he did last year. So lets look at some hard facts. Rashad is 6’1″ weighing in at 230 lbs. He played his college career out finishing all 4 years, which you know he has a good head on his shoulders from that alone. The downside is he didnt face any “HUGE” team so he had easy pickins. He has great signs to him, his weight-room mindset is second to none as well as his power. Something that our birds could really use.

So lets look at his college career.

not too bad right? So all thats left is the discussion of when would he go? Sources all say 2nd / 3rd round. So if the Eagles go ahead and take him in the 2nd round that means that we have our 21st and 28th pick free now. Don’t get me wrong at all if were looking for a RB to replace Brian Westbrook someday we need to draft Knowshawn Moreno (which is who I want) but the reality of it is come #21 he could be off the board. If thats the case then this kid would be a great option. So lets say we hold on to those two first rounders now we have the option of going out there and getting a OL / DE / LB / WR think of that. We could go out and get 2 solid players (if we dont trade for someone else). We could get a good Tackle and pick up maybe someone like Kenny Britt or Hakeem Nicks or Darrius Heyward-Bey (all WR’s). Who knows, what I do know is we could sit here all day and talk until were blue in the face. The bottom line is we dont know what the Eagles are going to do, I dont even think the EAGLES know what their going to do until D-Day or Draft Day if you will. I’m very excited either way to see what we do this offseason I have high hopes for us this upcoming year.
