Sheldon Brown wants out

ESPN is reporting that Sheldon Brown has asked the Eagles front office to trade him.

Everything is speculation at this point, but the good money is on Brown not being satisfied with his salary. This situation continues to be a problem for the Eagles, who like to lock up young talented players to lengthy deals that the player eventually becomes dissatisfied with.

Brown may also fear that with several young defensive backs on the roster, and perhaps more to come in the draft, if he is supplanted in the near future as a starter in Philly he will never have a chance for a big payday again.

Ya know, see ya later Sheldon!  You were complaining about Lito Shepard last year saying about how he is being a baby and that he signed a contract and needs to deal with it and just take what he signed, basically to shut up and play.  But wait what are you doing this year?  Hey you may be one of the best shut down CB’s in the league (giving up 0 td’s this year) but don’t get ahead of yourself.  Just because the 3rd string CB is getting paid more then you right now allows you to have some type of reasoning.  But regardless no reason at all to go back on your words from last year and talk this.  Ship him out Philly, send him to AZ or Cinn for Boldin / Johnson see what they want and get this done.  If ‘a way to keep our 1st rounder at all then make it happen and lets draft Moreno, then get a CB with our 2nd / 3rd round pick.

Sheldon you just ate your own words here man, I wouldn’t also be too surprised to see the Eagles do the same thing they did to Lito Shepard, make him play through the season giving someone else a chance aka Hanson let him shine then watch Brown’s stock go down.  Don’t do this Sheldon you will end up losing out on this deal anyway it goes!
